Calif. Stem-Cell Leaders Begin Planning [June 30, 2008] By Alex Philippidis The president of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine said the chairman of the agency’s governing board has begun meeting with undisclosed members of the US House and Senate, as well as “committees of importance,” with an eye to securing sources of funding beyond the state for continued support of stem cell research.
